With a forecasted 6.5% growth this year compared to last year’s 5.3%,
Vietnam is still an untapped market for foreign investors. Upon its
entry into the WTO in 2007, the securities market has been slowly
evolving with regulations trying to keep up with the needs of the
sector, domestic companies trying to expand their capital while
international companies are entering to tap into Vietnam’s abundant
resources. Vietnam Securities Market 2010 will explore the challenges
and potential of a new and exciting emerging market.
IBC Asia’s 2nd annual Vietnam Securities Market 2010 will take a
look at how Vietnam has weathered the global financial crisis and
how the country is taking advantage of increased foreign interests in
the region. Sessions will focus on the challenges within a new and
dynamic emerging market and business strategies to maximise
stakeholder profitability.
